it can be quiet here, or quiethere.

In retrospect

i think it was actually good to end Heroes how it ended. Sure, we can all say that we want it to go on forever, but do we really? With mediocre ratings and declining viewer numbers, I think it’s good that Heroes ended. But that doesn’t mean I don’t miss it with all my heart. Sitting down on a Monday night to see what revelations the show could produce that week, was one of the highlights of my week. Even though I miss Heroes, I couldn’t imagine a better note to end the final season on. The whole show had rather come full circle, what with how the very end of the final episode ended (not to spoil anything, but it involves Claire and HRG). I think that how that season ended, if they had made a fifth season, it would have been to radical of a change within the show to continue on with their original premise of super-powered people living normal lives.

“O Gandalf, best of friends, what am I to do? For now I am really afraid.”

AAH

My work is now finished. Here at last, on the shores of the sea… comes the end of our Fellowship. I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.

Oh

had a very geeky conversation with someone recently about Lord of the Rings; and now I’m deeply desiring everything Tolkien related.
